What is Networking?

Networking is actually a broad term. It can range from the actual network connection (wired or wireless) to the interconnection of the devices connected to the network (servers and workstations).

DehcTech can help you in all these aspects of networking with experience from corporate networks to home networks.

Let's face it, we are in the wireless age which can be tricky if you are prepared to keep predators out.  We provide you with the means to work within your workspace with the confidence that your client and personal information is safe.

If you require wired services, we also can run wires for you. Our cable runs are tested and completed with quality. Our cable projects are evaluated to provide a reliable and lasting installation, to ensure that problems won't arise later on.

We have done re-runs of cable installation where the customer have commented that they wish they had done the cable installation right in the first place.

How do you know if your cables are installed well?

We can come and inspect it for you. At no cost of course! However, good indicators are cables that hang on their own weight, weak terminations, exposed cables on the floor, cables tied too tight, etc. There are also the less obvious indications like the wrong cable used (yes, there are different types of Cat5 cables), terminations corroded, lack of coil.

Improper or decaying cable installations can produce problems like intermittent loss of connectivity, slow connections, lag. Sometimes you might notice the person next to you can open a software faster and you have a similar computer.

The problem with these symptoms is that they could also look like a problem with the Internet connection or with the computer itself. However, generally a good look at the cable conditions can show if it needs a more in deep inspection or not.
